End of war 1945 Site cleared but becomes neglected and overgrown.
1982 House built on the site by Chinese-Thai family.

March 2001 Work begins on the present Wannchai Building.
2001 – 2002 Number of unexplained fatal accidents continue to blight construction work.
2004 Construction of the adjacent Banjai Tower begins.
Dec 21st 2005 Mark Sullivan disappears on the 28th floor emergency staircase of the Wannchai Building.
June 2006 Mark Sullivan’s remains discovered in sealed chamber on the basement floor of the Wannchai Building.
June 2006 George Rees begins investigation.
